The Legion of Terror was formed in 1985 as a fraternal organization specifically to promote haunted attraction acting and excellence in special effects makeup. Partnered with the Broadview Heights Lion's Club, the organization's volunteer members have used their peculiarly twisted artistic talents to make Bloodview Haunted House one of the scariest and most creative haunted attractions anywhere.

The Legion of Terror consistently put on a horrific show, with original characters wearing Hollywood-style special effects makeup interacting with the customers from the time they pull in to the parking lot until they manage to drive away. In the off-season, Legion members hone their craft individually and together, with seminars and sessions to craft new appliances, costumes, and personas for the next season. You will never see the same show twice; each night, the actors become different monsters in different rooms.
